The guests of honor at "Persembahan Memori Diraja Putera Bangsa" on May 24, 2011 were HRH Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah Al-Musta'in Billah and HRH Cik Puan Besar Hajjah Kalsom. As soon as Orkestra JPN Pahang had performed their final musical number, Their Royal Highnesses were escorted to the main stage by Pahang Mentri Besar Tan Sri Adnan Yaakob.
After a brief meet-and-greet session, His Royal Highness delighted everyone present with a rendition of the Bob Tutupoly evergreen, "Oh Sayang." Orkestra JPN Pahang vocalists soon joined in, and the resulting singalong proved to be a fitting finale for the evening. I'm pleased to say that this heartwarming moment was
captured on video by our resident audio-visual aficionado, Tengku Hisamuddin.
