Full Refret

This Ibanez GIO HSH S-style guitar was refretted with Dunlop Accu-Fret 6T2/6000 Super Jumbo Fretwire; as per the owner's wishes. I won't go into detail about the refretting process here, as the pictures below should be self-explanatory.

Old frets have been removed

Dunlop Accu-Fret 6T2/6000 Super Jumbo Fretwire

Fretboard has been prepped to receive new frets

Fret tang has been undercut with a StewMac Fret Tang Nipper

Frets installed and ends trimmed

Frets have been leveled

Creating "fall away" in the higher frets

Checking the frets with a Fret Rocker

Frets have been recrowned with a StewMac Z-File

Polishing the newly-crowned frets

Fretboard has been reconditioned with lemon oil
