The final layer of super glue was applied to the neck on September 18. With that taken care of, I was able to shift my attention to the damaged areas of the headstock. As there was a substantial amount wood missing, these voids were filled with a mixture of wood dust and superglue.

It's October 1, and I'm confident the super glue has cured sufficiently for subsequent operations. These operations include filing, sanding, finessing with 0000 grade steel wool, and restaining. Here are the neck and headstock after steel wooling.

Now we're at the next phase of repairs, namely, restaining. This time around, I've chosen to utilize a blend of StewMac ColorTone Vintage Amber and Medium Brown stains dissolved in isopropyl alcohol.
