Rohaimin Remy recently acquired the "shell" of a Korean Squier by Fender Stratocaster. By "shell," I mean the neck and bare-bones body. No pickguard, no electronics, no nothing. As the story goes, it was originally white, and then sprayed red by the previous owner.

Rohaimin commenced work by stripping the body down to bare wood. At this stage, it did look good paired with a faux tortoiseshell pickguard. After some deliberation, however, Rohaimin decided he'd go the whole hog and refinish the Strat. Although refinishing took him only two days, I'm sure you'll agree that the results are most satisfying.
Besides the aforementioned pickguard, this Korean Squier now features repurposed hardware and electronics taken from various Strats in Rohaimin's possession. Of particular interest is the trio of Fender-Lace Gold Sensors; which I reckon were taken from a
1992 Fender Stratocaster Plus.
