Ovation CS24-4 | Headstock
The nyatoh headstock is angled, and features Ovation's distinctive but non-functional decorative extension. Frankly, this extension reminds me of a particular alien's head. You know, the one who crawls out and dies at the end of "
War of the Worlds."

Ovation CS24-4 | Neck
The neck, like the headstock, is stained nyatoh finished in clear gloss. The neck heel, meanwhile, features a Lyrachord heel cap adorned with an ivory stripe.

Ovation CS24-4 | Fretboard
The bound ovangkol fretboard on this guitar has seen years of use, and it shows. Embedded grime and tarnished frets seem to be the order of the day. To make matters worse, someone has carelessly reglued the 14th and 15th frets, leaving an awful mess. However, the main issue here is high action in the upper frets. This will definitely have to be addressed.
