This gorgeous MIM Fender Player Telecaster® sports a metallic finish Fender terms "Tidepool." It's the second one I've had the pleasure of setting up so far. The first, some time last year, was an equally stunning instrument sporting a Polar White finish and Pau Ferro fretboard. In today's post, we'll be looking at the more pertinent external features of this Fender Player Telecaster®. Then, in Part Two, the guitar will be dismantled somewhat for servicing; and that should allow us to peek into its innards.
This fine instrument belongs to Sheikh, a UIA Gombak Civil Engineering student who's had to return to Kuantan because of well, you guessed it; the Covid 19 pandemic. And now, it's time once again to peruse some specs. Most are off the Fender website, and a few are from my own observations.
