Sterling SR30 | Electronics
Being an HH solidbody, this SR30 features a pair of covered humbuckers with adjustable pole pieces. Unscrewing the pickguard reveals the brass base plates of these humbuckers, both bearing an "F" stamp. It's also reassuring to see that the pickup cavities have been shielded with conductive graphite paint.

A box-type three-way toggle switch enables the player to choose between the neck humbucker by itself, both humbuckers together, or the bridge humbucker alone. This toggle switch features a fiber board bottom and metal switch tip.

Beneath the metal control plate is the control cavity. The control cavity, like the pickup cavities, is also shielded with conductive graphite paint. Mounted to the control plate are two Alpha mini pots controlling volume and tone. The tone pot is wired to a 0.033uF polyester film capacitor, as indicated by the "2A333J" marking. Finally, we have a barrel output jack, which is mounted on a metal jack plate.
