This Epiphone Les Paul Custom is in for an overhaul. Based on the serial number [09101507560], we've been able to determine that it was built at the Qingdao [Epiphone] Plant in China in October 2009.
Amongst the guitar's more pertinent features are a set neck, bound rosewood fretboard with block inlays, 22 jumbo frets, bound body and headstock, gold hardware; and Grover tuners. As you might have guessed by now, there's a lot not quite right with this guitar. In
Part Two, we'll take it apart and get to the heart of the matter.
