Diagnosing a Norman AR-TN Preamp

The Norman B18 acoustic guitar in this video suffered from a malfunctioning AR-TN 3 Band Preamp. Output was weak and intermittent. I reckoned that the cause of this problem could be a defective under-saddle piezo transducer, loose connections; or the AR-TN preamp itself. In the video below, I demonstrate how I tested the AR-TN 3 Band Preamp by itself, and determined that it was indeed working. The problem was finally traced to a barely functioning under-saddle piezo transducer. I am pleased to report that replacing the piezo transducer brought the Norman B18 back to life.
