It's a hot and sunny day, and we're happy to report that this Ibanez GSR200 is good to go. After taking care of wiring and electronics, there was still hardware to deal with. This time around, we decided to give everything two 20-minute sessions in a warm ultrasonic bath. Although this did a world of good in dislodging assorted crud and grime, there still was tarnish to contend with. No worries, though, as a few spritzes of Gibson Guitar Polish followed by vigorous rubbing did the trick. This left the final issue, namely, sunken pickups. Unscrewing both pickups revealed rather inadequate pickup height foam which was too compressed to be of any use. After replacing the foam, we proceeded to lubricate and reassemble the bridge components, and set the bass up with Olympia PF-B45105 strings. CA Guitar Repair. Taman Impian Ku, 25200 Kuantan.
