Folks, here's an update on the
Samick Corsair Bass from Hell featured in January. Well, the owner's finally agreed to have it repaired, oh joy! But here's the catch - all I've been allowed to do is fix the electronics. Replacement parts include a ceramic J-Bass bridge pickup, three Alpha Korea A250K pots, a poly 0.033uF tone cap, and a generic MIJ output jack. Yes, it makes a sound now. My job is done.
