Installing an Onboard Preamp
The owner of this gloss black Fender Classic Design Series CD-60S Dreadnought wants an onboard preamp installed, and has provided me with a KAILG EAC-4SC. Well then, come join me on a brief walk-through of the installation process.

Preamp cavity cut with a rotary tool |
Squaring edges with a rasp and files |
Test-fitting the preamp |

Hole drilled for piezo pickup cable |
Pilot hole for output jack drilled |
Pilot hole redrilled with a larger bit |
Output jack hole widened further with a reamer |
Output jack installed |
