Part Two: Work Done
For starters, components that could be reused were cleaned and polished. This included the tune-o-matic style bridge and stop bar tailpiece, tuners; and pickups. As for the rusty screws, well; they were all replaced.
Besides this, the pickup and control cavities were shielded with conductive shielding paint; and the control cavity cover with copper foil. The guitar was then completely rewired with new components: Alpha A500K pots, a Neutrik NYS229 output jack, generic toggle switch; and metal output jack plate.
