Various Problems
This ST-62 was purchased new and has been with the owner for a very long time. Unfortunately, it has never been serviced, cleaned or polished. Thus said, rust and grime have made their mark on this Olympic White epitome of Japanese craftsmanship. Perhaps the most obvious problem is the high action, traced to incorrect neck pitch. Instead of dipping downwards slightly in relation to the plane of the body, the neck is angled in the opposite direction. A strategically-placed neck pocket shim should cure this malady.
