Electronics Upgrade, Shielding and Servicing

The "DiMarzio Collection" single coils that come stock on this Crafted in Japan [CIJ] Fender ST-62 are ceramics, and not Alnicos as one might expect. They sound fine, though; so they're staying put. The same can't be said for the control cavity electronics, though. They've been upgraded to Alpha A250K pots and a Gotoh DM-50 switch. Also, as the body cavities lack shielding, a couple coats of conductive shielding paint have been applied; and grounded for good measure. The back of the pickguard has also been completely shielded with copper foil.
