Yamaha F310 | Mods and Upgrades

This fine-sounding acoustic guitar was bought used, and the current owner asked for the action to be lowered; as well as a better set of tuners. In order for the action to be lowered, the height of both the bridge and saddle were reduced via sanding. The bridge was then ramped to provide sufficient string break angle. The stock tuners were also upgraded to Derjung DJ333C-M9s. Here's a SoundCloud audio file of the Yamaha F310. Last but not least, as sourced from Thomann UK; here are some of the F310's specs:

Finish: Natural (NT)
Top: Spruce
Back and sides: Meranti
Neck: Nato
Fretboard: Rosewood (Dalbergia latifolia)
Scale: 634 mm
Nut width: 43 mm
