Ibanez GSR205 | A Tale of Two Brothers

This is a tale of two brothers. Separated at birth, the older brother ended up in Kampung Padang; while his younger sibling found a forever home in Kubang Buaya. As fate would have it, these two siblings were finally reunited in Taman Impianku. Here are the pics of their happy reunion.

Ibanez GSR205 Wiring Mod #2

Mod #2 is the current wiring scheme of my beloved GSR205. It is basically inspired by the Yamaha BB1000MA, with a master volume, master tone and 3-way toggle switch for pickup selection.

Ibanez GSR205 | New Tuning Key

October 14 2011. The D string tuner post of my Ibanez GSR205 (Serial Number: A04021168) has broken off, and it is impossible to find a suitable replacement in Kuantan. I've been carrying on with an emergency replacement 'borrowed' from an Aria Pro II. Thank goodness Lee MIJ Guitars was kind enough to source an Allparts replacement tuner (Product Code: TK-0794-L10) while in Manila on holiday; and post it to me upon his return to Malaysia. Long live Lee MIJ Guitars :).
