The scarf joint was glued and clamped on August 6. It's August 17 today, and time to remove the clamps. I'm happy with the results, though this is only the first hurdle crossed.

Right, let's look at that lifting fretboard. I've opened the split with a box cutter blade, and carefully applied super glue so that it seeps in slowly. There's also acetone and facial cotton pads on standby in case of spills. We'll leave it clamped for at least a day.
