River Blues Band was the opening act for the "Long Live Rock and Blues" gig hosted by Rock Bottom Bangsar on the 1st of May, 2016. Top-billed bands for this gig included Ito (of Blues Gang fame) and his All Stars Blues Band, Purple Haze, Starstruck, and of course; Sons of Adam. The RBB lineup for this gig comprised Shafie (guitar/vocals), Along (guitar), AA (bass/vocals), Jack (keyboards) and Mamat (drums).
