Washburn XB125

Here's a 'Crafted in China' Washburn XB125. It originally had a master volume, master tone and toggle switch. However, the toggle switch died about 2 years ago. As no suitable spare parts were available here (believe it or not) and the owner needed it pronto; I removed the toggle switch and replaced it with a DiMarzio 500K pot that was in my spare parts bin. So, what you are looking at now is a rush job with a neck pup volume, bridge pup volume and master tone (DiMarzio 500K).

Clockwise from left: bridge pup volume, neck pup volume, master tone.

The nut appears to be made of wood.

W941 (neck) and W943 (bridge) pickups.

Everything has been potted with epoxy, so no chance of peering inside.

That would be an interesting experiment, no doubt. It's the first time in my life that I've across such a nut.
